Obama's broken promises and sell out to Wall Street is clearly seen in Stone's video as Obama stacks his team with Bush retreads and his promise of transparency is submerged by his greater need to maintain the status quo as well as the increasingly transparent War on Terror ~ which has now become Obama's drone directed War of Terror.

Obama's Nobel Peace prize becomes a bad joke ~ witness Obama's ongoing targeted assassinations and vigilante drone justice ~ along with Bin Laden's photo op death (with no body or DNA confirmation) which is an obvious insult to our intelligence.

GOP STRATEGY / DUMBING DOWN THE DUMB WITH LIES

The Republican Party has no platform but has the capability of shifting the blame of Bush's financial recklessness and place it squarely in Obama's hands while proclaiming themselves reformers to their dumb downed base : Allen L Roland

The wooden stake of the truth was never used to pierce the heart of the dark soul of the Cheney/Bush administration.
As such, their evil deeds of illegal preemptive war, occupation, illegal renditions, spying and torture continue to be unpunished and seemingly swept under the rug by an Obama administration ~ who has gladly adopted some of these very same abuses of power.

But the Republicans can't run away from one date and that date is 9/11/2001. No amount of Obama bashing or obscuring the facts can hide their culpability for knowingly allowing America's greatest tragedy ~ now that the glaring reality of our preemptive failures in both Iraq and Afghanistan are becoming common knowledge.

The 9/11 Pandora's treasonous horror box will be opened eventually and the Achilles' heel will be the torture induced false confessions to 9/11 ~ which were sanctioned by two of the 9/11 facilitators, VP Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. In an interview with Press TV, Philip Sands, the author of Torture Team, blamed lawyers close to former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld for marginalizing international laws to sanction the torture of detainees at US-run prisons. Sands cited a memo that Rumsfeld signed on December 2, 2002 as proof of the US officials' crime. The memo sought to help the US government coerce imprisoned suspected terrorists into revealing intelligence.

It's all an elaborate Kabuki theater with the Republicans doing their so-called obstruction dance with the gutless Democrats, who have settled for piecemeal change, while Wall Street continues to raze Main street ~ and it's all based on lies !

President Obama has become a true master of deception. Obviously, Obama is fully in sync with BP and the global financial elite ~ that photo of him swimming in the oil laden Gulf with his daughter was, in actuality, not in the gulf. The official WH picture was intended to provide evidence that the region's beaches are back to normal. Yet it soon emerged that the private beach on which it was taken, in St Andrew Bay, north-west Florida, isn't technically in the gulf ~ It's a bay inside the Gulf protected by barrier islands. All of this while unexplained dead fish are piling up on the East coast as toxic Oil plumes make their way north and eventually Europe ~ where all hell will break loose.

Meanwhile, A University Study contradicts Government Estimates, and reports that up to 79% of Oil could remain ~ a group of scientists say that most of that BP oil the government claimed was gone from the Gulf of Mexico is actually still there ~ raising the possibility of another undisclosed BP gusher well. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/17/gulf-oil-spill-university_n_684343.html

But the biggest ongoing lies are the deceptive economic statistics which are seemingly propping up a deepening economic depression ~ which neither Republicans or Democrats will reveal to the American public.

Here's the truth, as revealed by Paul Craig Roberts, ICH ~ " Our government tells us that the unemployment rate is just under 10 percent, a figure that would have wrecked any post-Great Depression administration. But, again, “our government” is lying. The reported unemployment rate is just below 10% because the US government no longer, since the corrupt Clinton administration, counts Americans who have been unemployed for longer than one year. Once the unemployed hit one year and one day, they are dropped from the unemployment roles and no longer counted as unemployed.... Compare this fact with the number you read from the financial press. Right now, if measured according to the methodology of 1980, the US unemployment rate is about 22%. So this deceptive political theater goes on and the Republicans are in essence saying to their dumbed down base and the American electorate ~ Why settle for Bush lite, Why not go with the real thing, We Republicans are no worse than those wimpy Democrats, We all lie, Obama lies just like Bush did, Welcome us back, We know you and love you, We will protect you, you are going to sleep ... going to sleeeeep ...

FREE WILL / HITLER, BUSH AND THE POWER OF LOVE

Most scientists feel that free will does not exist but I would argue that may be true in a state of ego consciousness but with the introduction of love ~ a far deeper soul based choice becomes available and would most likely be taken: Allen L Roland

Jesse Bering , Scientific American, wrote a compelling and intellectually stimulating article about free will in the April 6th issue of Scientific American. In explaining free will ~ he uses a hypothetical example of traveling back in space and time to visit the young child, Adolph Hitler, and then asks What would you do to him ? Would the future really have changed for the better ?

Excerpt:
" Suspend disbelief for a moment and imagine that you have agreed, as a secret agent in some confidential military operation, to travel back in time to the year 1894. To your astonishment, it’s a success! And now ~ after wiping away the magical time-traveling dust from your eyes ~ you find yourself on the fringes of some Bavarian village, hidden in a camouflaging thicket of wilderness against the edge of town, the distant, disembodied voices of nineteenth-century Germans mingling atmospherically with the unmistakable sounds of church bells.
Quickly, you survey your surroundings: you seem to be directly behind a set of old row houses; white linens have been hung out to dry; a little stream tinkles behind you; windows have been opened to let in the warm springtime air. How quaint. No one else appears to be about, although occasionally you glimpse a pedestrian passing between the narrow gaps separating the houses. And then you notice him. There’s a quiet, solemn-looking little boy nearby, playing quietly with some toys in the dirt. He looks to be about six years old ~ a mere kindergartner, in the modern era. In your role of this time-travelling secret agent from the twenty-first century, you’ve been equipped with the following pieces of information. First, the time-travelling technology is still in its infancy, and researchers are doubtful that it will ever succeed again. Second, you have only ten minutes before being zapped back into the year 2010 (and two of those minutes have already elapsed since you arrived). Third, you’ve been informed that seven minutes is just enough time to throttle a six-year-old with your bare hands and to confirm, without a doubt, that the child is dead. This means that you have only one minute left to decide whether or not to assassinate the little boy ~ "

So what would you do ?

Bering asks the same question ~ " In any event, your minute is up! So what’s it going to be ~ and why ? With millions of future lives at stake, do you murder the innocent six-year-old boy as a pre-emptive homicide? Do you deliver the package to his parents, in the hopes that the shocking photos of the Holocaust will lead Adolph ~ one way or another ~ to choose a different career path, or even to flub his own rise to fame from all the pressure? Or, like those who lived in Nazi Germany and who were bombarded with (false) deterministic messages about the Jews, do you simply not intervene at all? "

Or do you do what I would do and thus greatly increase the likelihood that young Hitler may seek another choice in his life ~ by touching his heart.

You spend that seven minutes telling him what you see in your heart and that he is truly a gifted and beautiful child, regardless of how his dad treats him, and by speaking from your heart you touch his heart and he never forgets you.

How many of you remember early teachers who saw your gift when no one else seemed to care ?

How many of you longed, as a child, for someone to tell you that you were special ?

I still vividly remember my grandmother, who was extremely evolved spiritually but estranged from my mother, visiting my mother when I was six years old. I was emotionally alone, after having been taken away from my beloved Grandfather and probably convinced that no one could really see me.

She took my hand and silently read my palm and then smiled knowingly and lovingly squeezed it. That was it but I never forgot it ~ for in that magical few minutes I KNEW I was special and loved and I never forgot our meeting.

So now back to the young Hitler. We know he loved his dogs and probably because they were his one source of unconditional love ~ as they are for so many lonely children and adults. But I'm sure he also longed for someone like my grandmother to take his hand and tell him he was special and loved.

In other words, Hitler was not predestined to be the killing scourge of Europe but his early childhood emotional deprivation and fear of failure set the stage for his later psychopathic behaviors ~ much like G.W. Bush blowing up frogs as a child and his later behavior as the 'Killing Machine' Governor of Texas and President of the United States with the blood of a million people on his hands ~ the overwhelming majority of them innocent, non-combatant Iraqi civilians .


The key to comprehending George W Bush is also understanding his almost psychotic fear of failure and humiliation which caused him to avoid reality at all costs and drove his messianic behavior and agenda ~ much like it did Hitler's in the 1930's and 40's. Both Hitler and Bush seemingly had no conscience ~ nor empathy for that matter. What takes precedence is their ego externalized God driven agenda ~ " I believe that God wants me to be president.” George W. Bush ~ "I would like to thank Providence and the Almighty for choosing me of all people to be allowed to wage this battle for Germany," Hitler - Berlin March, 1936. In essence, Hitler and Bush were two emotional cripples playing out their roles in history.

On Feb.16, 2010, retired librarian, Elizabeth Woodworth, posted a survey of a turn in the approach to the 9/11 Truth movement in foreign press accounts, from "a 'conspiracy theory' ignoring science and common sense" to "a scientific controversy worthy of debate." Woodward said, "in response to emerging independent science on the 9/11 attacks, nine corporate, seven public, and two independent media outlets aired analytic programs investigating the official account." Please do do remember that a peer-reviewed paper published in the Open Chemical Physics Journal on April 3, 2009, reported that a little known high-tech explosive called nano-thermite was found throughout the World Trade Center dust.

Now, let's quickly review the key Congressional representatives, 9/11 commission members, senior Intelligence people and goverment officials who, along with millions of Americans including myself, are still not satisfied with the official 9/11 inquiry or cover-up.

According to the Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham, an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House (confirmed here)

Current Democratic U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy said "The two questions that the congress will not ask . . . is why did 9/11 happen on George Bush's watch when he had clear warnings that it was going to happen? Why did they allow it to happen?"
Current Republican Congressman Ron Paul calls for a new 9/11 investigation and states that "we see the [9/11] investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on"
Current Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich hints that we aren't being told the truth about 9/11
Former Democratic Senator Mike Gravel states that he supports a new 9/11 investigation and that we don't know the truth about 9/11

Former Republican Senator Lincoln Chaffee endorses a new 9/11 investigation

Former U.S. Democratic Congressman Dan Hamburg says that the U.S. government "assisted" in the 9/11 attacks, stating that "I think there was a lot of help from the inside"

Former U.S. Republican Congressman and senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, and who served six years as the Chairman of the Military Research and Development Subcommittee Curt Weldon has shown that the U.S. tracked hijackers before 9/11, is open to hearing information about explosives in the Twin Towers, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job

And 9/11 Commissioners:

The Commission's co-chairs said that the 9/11 Commissioners knew that military officials misrepresented the facts to the Commission, and the Commission considered recommending criminal charges for such false statements (free subscription required)
9/11 Commission co-chair Lee Hamilton says "I don't believe for a minute we got everything right", that the Commission was set up to fail, that people should keep asking questions about 9/11, and that the 9/11 debate should continue.

9/11 Commissioner Timothy Roemer said "We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting"

9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland resigned from the Commission, stating: "It is a national scandal"; "This investigation is now compromised"; and "One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up"

9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerrey said that "There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version . . . We didn't have access . . . ."

And the Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission (John Farmer) - who led the 9/11 staff's inquiry - recently said "At some level of the government, at some point in time...there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened ". He also said "I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described .... The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years.... This is not spin. This is not true."

And senior intelligence officers:

A number of intelligence officials, including a CIA Operations Officer who co-chaired a CIA multi-agency task force coordinating intelligence efforts among many intelligence and law enforcement agencies (Lynne Larkin) sent a joint letter to Congress expressing their concerns about “serious shortcomings,” “omissions,” and “major flaws” in the 9/11 Commission Report and offering their services for a new investigation (they were ignored)

Former military analyst and famed whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg recently said that the case of a certain 9/11 whistleblower is "far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers". He also said that the government is ordering the media to cover up her allegations about 9/11. And he said that some of the claims concerning government involvement in 9/11 are credible, that "very serious questions have been raised about what they [U.S. government officials] knew beforehand and how much involvement there might have been", that engineering 9/11 would not be humanly or psychologically beyond the scope of the current administration, and that there's enough evidence to justify a new, "hard-hitting" investigation into 9/11 with subpoenas and testimony taken under oath.

A 27-year CIA veteran, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates and personally delivered intelligence briefings to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, their Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many other senior government officials (Raymond McGovern) said “I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke”, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job.

A 29-year CIA veteran, former National Intelligence Officer (NIO) and former Director of the CIA's Office of Regional and Political Analysis (William Bill Christison) said “I now think there is persuasive evidence that the events of September did not unfold as the Bush administration and the 9/11 Commission would have us believe. ... All three [buildings that were destroyed in the World Trade Center] were most probably destroyed by controlled demolition charges placed in the buildings before 9/11.".

20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the second-ranking civilian in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer (David Steele) stated that "9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war", and it was probably an inside job .

A decorated 20-year CIA veteran, who Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh called "perhaps the best on-the-ground field officer in the Middle East”, and whose astounding career formed the script for the Academy Award winning motion picture Syriana (Robert Baer) said that "the evidence points at" 9/11 having had aspects of being an inside job "

The Division Chief of the CIA’s Office of Soviet Affairs, who served as Senior Analyst from 1966 - 1990. He also served as Professor of International Security at the National War College from 1986 - 2004 (Melvin Goodman) said "The final [9/11 Commission] report is ultimately a coverup."

Professor of History and International Relations, University of Maryland. Former Executive Assistant to the Director of the National Security Agency, former military attaché in China, with a 21-year career in U.S. Army Intelligence (Major John M. Newman, PhD, U.S. Army) questions the government's version of the events of 9/11.

And other government officials:

U.S. General, Commanding General of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, decorated with the Bronze Star, Silver Star, and Purple Heart (General Wesley Clark) said "We've never finished the investigation of 9/11 and whether the administration actually misused the intelligence information it had. The evidence seems pretty clear to me. I've seen that for a long time."

Former Deputy Secretary for Intelligence and Warning under Nixon, Ford, and Carter (Morton Goulder), former Deputy Director to the White House Task Force on Terrorism (Edward L. Peck), and former US Department of State Foreign Service Officer (J. Michael Springmann), as well as a who's who of liberals and independents) jointly call for a new investigation into 9/11

The Group Director on matters of national security in the U.S. Government Accountability Office said that President Bush did not respond to unprecedented warnings of the 9/11 disaster and conducted a massive cover-up instead of accepting responsibility

President of the U.S. Air Force Accident Investigation Board, who also served as Pentagon Weapons Requirement Officer and as a member of the Pentagon's Quadrennial Defense Review, and who was awarded Distinguished Flying Crosses for Heroism, four Air Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, and nine Aerial Achievement Medals (Lt. Col. Jeff Latas) is a member of a group which doubts the government's version of 9/11

Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Ronald Reagan (Col. Ronald D. Ray) said that the official story of 9/11 is "the dog that doesn't hunt"

The former director of the FBI (Louis Freeh) says there was a cover up by the 9/11 Commission

Director of the U.S. "Star Wars" space defense program in both Republican and Democratic administrations, who was a senior air force colonel who flew 101 combat missions (Col. Robert Bowman) stated: "If our government had merely [done] nothing, and I say that as an old interceptor pilot ~ I know the drill, I know what it takes, I know how long it takes, I know what the procedures are, I know what they were, and I know what they’ve changed them to ~ if our government had merely done nothing, and allowed normal procedures to happen on that morning of 9/11, the Twin Towers would still be standing and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive. That is treason!"

The truth always goes through three stages ~ First, it is ridiculed ~ second, it is violently opposed and finally, it is accepted as being self evident.
