DARTH VADER UNMASKED / DICK CHENEY

In the fictional Star Wars trilogy, Darth Vader was depicted as a ruthless cyborg who served the dark Galactic Empire whereas in real life Dick Cheney is a ruthless human cyborg, fueled by a transplanted heart, whose self-professed travels to the dark side served and greatly influenced a darkening and morally corrupt American Empire. It is Cheney who enthusiastically introduced torture as a means to obtain confessions to 9/11 in order to both avoid responsibility for his own actions regarding the planning and implementation of America's greatest act of treason ~ as well as seemingly justify our resultant illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

“I was a big supporter of waterboarding,” Cheney told ABC’s Jonathan Karl in 2010 in response to a question about battles won and lost within Bush administration’s second term. “I was a big supporter of the enhanced interrogation techniques that…” “And you opposed the administration’s actions of doing away with waterboarding?” Karl asked. “Yes,” Cheney replied.

 

Let's connect all the telltale dots regarding Dick Cheney's actions:

Indeed, Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Ron Suskind reports that the White House (Cheney) ordered the CIA to forge and backdate a document falsely linking Iraq with Muslim terrorists and 9/11 … and that the CIA complied with those instructions and in fact created the forgery, which was then used to justify war against Iraq.

Next Timothy Egan wrote a revealing op-ed piece in the New York Times this week entitled The War Hero and the Chicken Hawk  where Egan shares that choices regarding responsibility that McCain and Cheney made when they were young shaped what they said this week about an awful breach in American values regarding torture:

Excerpt: " In and out of colleges, he (Cheney) dodged the war with five draft deferments; he said he “had other priorities in the ’60s than military service.” Early on, he learned how easy it was to evade responsibility…. Cheney has long backed torture, blithely supporting techniques that were called war crimes when used by Imperial Japan or Nazi Germany, and outlawed in treaties signed by most civilized nations. His central claim ~ not supported by a phone-book-thick body of evidence ~ is that torturing terrorists produced “phenomenal results,” including “the intelligence that allowed us to get Osama bin Laden.” Without having read the Senate Intelligence Committee report, he was quick to say on Monday that the barbarism committed in our name was “absolutely, totally justified.” And of course, he would do it all again, without hesitation….. By Wednesday, he was the petulant child caught and cornered. Confronted with evidence that 26 detainees were wrongfully held, with examples of “rectal feeding” (rape by another definition), or induced hypothermia that most likely killed one suspect, he proclaimed the exhaustive inquiry “full of crap” and he still had not read the report. And now the obvious rationale for Cheney's denial ~ It became imperative after 9/11 that Cheney cover up his incriminating fingerprints regarding that treasonous act (inspired by PNAC's need for a new Pearl Harbor) and rapidly find a scapegoat or so called mastermind, isolate them or ship them off to Guantanamo, torture and force them to falsely confess and quickly establish a 9/11 link with Iraq.

Why would Cheney consciously lie unless he was covering up the greater and more perilous big lie of 9/11?

Perhaps only satire can fully reveal the true extent of the Big Lie and how literally half of Washington, DC has been silenced or blackmailed by AIPAC into remaining silent over the fact that 9/11 was an inside job. The only way to stop the current military escalation follies throughout the Middle East is to finally fully reveal the 9/11 Lie they were all initially born from ~ a fact that Cheney is firmly committed to avoid at all costs including justifying inhumane torture in order to, once again, avoid responsibility.

As Andrew Sullivan comments in The Dish ~ "I want to move past this as much as CIA Chief John Brennan does. But you cannot move past it without reckoning with it, without facing up to the facts, and bringing accountability to government. Obama and Brennan refuse to do it. And by refusing to come to terms with the facts, they have left this as some kind of open debate, when it is, in fact, closed. And that opening is all we need to see torture return."

In summary, Dick Cheney is like a deadly and now dormant vampire who lives in the darkness and can only be truly eliminated by a wooden stake or the light of truth driven into his treasonous dark heart of denial ~ whereas the truth of 9/11 will finally be revealed as well as Cheney’s role in America’s greatest act of treason.

William Boardman, RSN, mirrors my own feelings when he wrote today ~ "We know who the torturer-in-chief was, and we know his vice-torturer has said George Bush was as fully informed as he, Dick Cheney, was. Along with everything else we know about these men who still defend their criminality, why isn’t that enough for probable cause and a criminal indictment?"

Let the prosecutions begin and let them start from the top down ~ there is no change without action and Americans want and can actually handle it.

PRISM / NSA's PRIVATIZED RETRIVAL AND INFORMATION SPECTRUM MANIPULATION

So now it's common knowledge that America has built a massive full spectrum privatized information retrieval apparatus (PRISM) which becomes fully operational this fall and confirms that we are now living in Orwell's invasive Oceania ~ where technology is being consciously used to manipulate the public as well as crush human liberty and deny our privacy. In the June 16, 2013 issue of Information Clearing House -  J.P. Higgs shares that the Associated Press dropped a bombshell report that claims the NSA's secret Internet spy program Prism is just a small part of a much more "expansive and intrusive" digital spying effort. According to the AP, the NSA copies ALL INTERNET traffic in and out of the United States for analysis by hoovering all data that passes through fiber lines.

"Tapping into those cables allows the NSA access to monitor emails, telephone calls, video chats, websites, bank transactions and more. It takes powerful computers to decrypt, store and analyze all this information, but the information is all there, zipping by at the speed of light," AP reports.

Prism was originally thought to be a program to force Internet companies to hand over private user data to the government. But it turns out that Prism is actually a filtering tool to "make sense of the cacophony of the Internet's raw feed...Prism takes large beams of data and helps the government find discrete, manageable strands of information."

It then manages those strands of data by creating dossiers on every Internet user, providing the government with "names, addresses, conversation histories and entire archives of email in boxes."

And, of course, all of this data is collected and kept on innocent people without a warrant or any probable cause.

So what was disclosed in that NSA classified briefing for members of Congress last Wednesday ?

Glenn Greenwald, who broke the Spying scandal in the Guardian, reveals that we have just touched "the tip of the iceberg" ~ " I did, though, want to note a few points, and particularly highlight what Democratic Rep. Loretta Sanchez said after Congress on Wednesday was given a classified briefing by NSA officials on the agency's previously secret surveillance activities: 

"What we learned in there is significantly more than what is out in the media today. . . . I can't speak to what we learned in there, and I don't know if there are other leaks, if there's more information somewhere, if somebody else is going to step up, but I will tell you that I believe it's the tip of the iceberg . . . . I think it's just broader than most people even realize, and I think that's, in one way, what astounded most of us, too." 

The Congresswoman is absolutely right: what we have reported thus far is merely "the tip of the iceberg" of what the NSA is doing in spying on Americans and the world. She's also right that when it comes to NSA spying, "there is significantly more than what is out in the media today", and that's exactly what we're working to rectify"

As Pepe Escobar writes in AlterNet ~ " PRISM, as expressed in its Dark Side of the Moon-ish logo, is no less than a graphic expression of the ultimate Pentagon/neo-con wet dream; the Full Spectrum Dominance doctrine.  The NSA ~ also known as No Such Agency ~ is part of the Pentagon.  Full Spectrum Dominance was conceptualized in the Pentagon's 2002 Joint Vision 2020. To fully understand PRISM, you must first think global for we are talking here about a growing global security state which will be an integral part of the fast approaching New World Order.

Tom Englehardt identifies the five urges essential to understanding the secret world of PRISM ~ that Edward Snowden and Glenn Greenwald has most certainly helped us glimpse.

1.   The Urge to be Global ~ "Based on what we now know, we should be talking about an American global security state." 

2.   The Urge to Make You Transparent ~ "The urge to possess you, or everything that can be known about you, has clearly taken possession of our global security state."

3.   The Urge to make Themselves Opaque ~ "With this goes another reality.  They are to become ever less accessible, ever more impenetrable, ever less knowable to you (except in the forms in which they would prefer you to know them)."

4.   The Urge to Expand ~ "As we’ve known at least since Dana Priest and William Arkin published their stunning series, “Top Secret America,” in the Washington Post in 2010, the U.S. Intelligence Community has expanded post-9/11 to levels unimaginable even in the Cold War era… And its urge to continue growing, to build yet more structures for surveillance, including a vast $2 billion NSA repository in Bluffdale, Utah, that will be capable of holding an almost unimaginable yottabyte of data, is increasingly written into its DNA."

AMERICA'S AUSCHWITZ IS THE EVIL OF GUANTANAMO

America's Auschwitz is the evil of Guantanamo ~ a festering open sore of civil and human rights abuse and a blatant reminder that the name Guantanamo evokes criminality and torture to the rest of the world: Allen L Roland

As Michael Ratner reports : "The Obama Administration is responsible for the continued imprisonment of 86 men who were found not to have been involved in any crime or act of war.
Eleven years later, there is no sign these people will ever be released.

So why does Obama refuse to deliver on his promise to close this open sore of civil and human rights abuse ?

To me, the obvious reason goes back to the Big, Big lie of 9/11 and Obama's continuance of the Bush administration's decision to justify torture, illegal rendition, forced confessions and indefinite imprisonment of innocent civilians in order to maintain the perception of implied external guilt for an obvious internal false flag attack on America ~ which was orchestrated or at the very least condoned by the Cheney/Bush administration and their cabal of American traitors.

As Ratner correctly points out on Real News, Guantanamo is an international moral outrage but I maintain that the Obama administration continues the tradition of the Cheney/Bush decade by implementing any means, however illegal, towards the end of maintaining the transparent and discredited façade of the official 9/11 story as well as the equally transparent and discredited War on Terror.

Here are the words of Gitmo detainee, Samor Naji Al Hasan Moqbel, published in the New York Times this week ~

" I’ve been on a hunger strike since Feb. 10 and have lost well over 30 pounds. I will not eat until they restore my dignity.

I’ve been detained at Guantánamo for 11 years and three months. I have never been charged with any crime. I have never received a trial. I could have been home years ago — no one seriously thinks I am a threat — but still I am here. Years ago the military said I was a “guard” for Osama bin Laden, but this was nonsense, like something out of the American movies I used to watch. They don’t even seem to believe it anymore. But they don’t seem to care how long I sit here, either… I will never forget the first time they passed the feeding tube up my nose. I can’t describe how painful it is to be force-fed this way. As it was thrust in, it made me feel like throwing up. I wanted to vomit, but I couldn’t. There was agony in my chest, throat and stomach. I had never experienced such pain before. I would not wish this cruel punishment upon anyone. I am still being force-fed. Two times a day they tie me to a chair in my cell. My arms, legs and head are strapped down. I never know when they will come. Sometimes they come during the night, as late as 11 p.m., when I’m sleeping… The situation is desperate now. All of the detainees here are suffering deeply. At least 40 people here are on a hunger strike. People are fainting with exhaustion every day. I have vomited blood…. And there is no end in sight to our imprisonment. Denying ourselves food and risking death every day is the choice we have made. The first rule in climbing out of this national prison of fear is maintaining a healthy level of informed skepticism regarding our government's actions and most certainly do not underestimate our government's willingness to create another false flag incident (yes, perhaps even the recent Boston marathon deadly explosion) in order to fan the flames of fear and the continued diminishing of our civil and human rights ~ and of course always under the banner of the War on Terror or national security.

Chauncey DeVega correctly questions our empathy in AlterNet ~ "I wonder how much better, or perhaps worse in some counter intuitive ways, our world would be if the American people could be as upset about the deaths from the bombing of the Boston Massacre, as those others which occur almost every day, all over the world ~ many of which are either directly or indirectly done in supposed pursuit of "national defense" and/or the United States' "national security."  

The new normal for America is torture, false imprisonment  and Drone assassinations. The world knows it ~ but we still can't quite accept the ugly reality that America's Auschwitz is the evil of Guantanamo.
