JIMMY CARTER / A WISE TRUTH TELLER PREPARES TO DEPART

I have always thought that Jimmy Carter is not only one of our greatest presidents but is also the perfect example of James Kavanaugh's quote and book ~ There are men too gentle to live among wolves. Carter is an extremely intelligent, gentle and deeply religious man who tried to do his best and live among the global elite and Wall Street wolves but they never trusted his sincerity and eventually brought him down and replaced him with a cartoon image of Republican leadership and deceit, Ronald Reagan who initiated our gradual decent to global terror, torture and finally moral irrelevance: Allen L Roland, PhD

"There are men too gentle to live among wolves" James Kavanaugh

Two years ago I wrote an article about Jimmy Carter calling him America's most famous truth teller saying our 2002 Nobel Peace Prize winner and former president Jimmy Carter is America’s most famous truth teller and moral revolutionist. See article ~ http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/07/31/jimmy-carter-americas-most-famous-truth-teller-and-moral-revolutionist/

Carter was way ahead of his time when he declared then that “The U.S has no functioning Democracy” which did not appear in the American mainstream press; Carter also rightfully defended NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden actions declaring that “the invasion of human rights and American privacy has gone too far” and finally Carter correctly argued that “Israel’s continued control and colonization of Palestine land have been the primary obstacles to a comprehensive peace agreement in the Middle East.”~ and yet Jimmy Carter continued to be ostracized by the global elite and main stream press who obviously deeply feared his revolutionary moral truths ~ and now Jimmy is preparing to depart with a spreading and perhaps incurable cancer, but he most certainly will not depart quietly into the night.

Carter's most famous speech is his Crisis of Confidence or Spiritual Malaise speech on July 15. 1979 which was deeply prophetic of future unfolding events which have led us to our present morally deteriorated state ~ see 2 minute video of excerpts ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lHplhMChZQ

Here are excerpts of Carter's exact words on the moral apathy which has gripped our nation as well as our lack of a spiritual base ~ "Our people are losing that faith, not only in government itself but in the ability as citizens to serve as the ultimate rulers and shapers of our democracy. As a people we know our past and we are proud of it. Our progress has been part of the living history of America, even the world. We always believed that we were part of a great movement of humanity itself called democracy, involved in the search for freedom, and that belief has always strengthened us in our purpose. But just as we are losing our confidence in the future, we are also beginning to close the door on our past….But we've discovered that owning things and consuming things does not satisfy our longing for meaning. We've learned that piling up material goods cannot fill the emptiness of lives which have no confidence or purpose…. The symptoms of this crisis of the American spirit are all around us. For the first time in the history of our country a majority of our people believe that the next 5 years will be worse than the past 5 years. Two-thirds of our people do not even vote. The productivity of American workers is actually dropping, and the willingness of Americans to save for the future has fallen below that of all other people in the Western world."

Jimmy Carter is a global moral force and trouble shooter for fairness and justice who gives living truth to these words by William James ~ words which also happen to be an inspiration for myself ~ "I am done with great things and big things and great institutions and big successes, and I am for those tiny invisible molecular forces that work from individual to individual, creeping through the crannies of the world like so many rootlets or like the capillary oozing water, yet which, if you give them time, will bend the hardest monuments of human pride"

Here are some famous Jimmy Carter quotes which give ample evidence of his moral courage;

"I think what's going on in Guantanamo Bay and other places is a disgrace to the U.S.A. I wouldn't say it's the cause of terrorism, but it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists to lash out at our country and justify their despicable acts." Jimmy Carter

And now Jimmy Carter at 90 may be dying of Cancer but he is fully prepared for the worst.

"I'm ready for anything and looking forward to a new adventure," said Carter, appearing upbeat and making jokes as he openly talked about his cancer during a recent news conference.

. "I just thought I had a few weeks left, but I was surprisingly at ease. I've had a wonderful life," the 90-year-old Carter said. "It's in God's hands. I'll be prepared for anything that comes."

Most people are not only afraid of death but they are really afraid of the incompleteness of their lives ~ but that most certainly does not include Jimmy Carter who is seemingly ready for his next exciting adventure of transitioning into another state of consciousness ~  the Unified Field  of love and soul consciousness that lies not only beyond the event horizon of death but also beneath our deepest fears, as I demonstrate every day in my heart centered self-healing consultations.

Since death is an illusion measured by the limits of our consciousness ~ Jimmy Carter's greatest gift may well be demonstrating to us how his strong faith can both face and defeat Death.

There have been many tributes to Carter but one interview in the Los Angeles Times, was especially well done. Written by the New York Times‘ Carolyn Kellogg, it was on target, with this headline: “In ‘A Full Life,’ Jimmy Carter at 90 remains a wise truth teller”.

Kellogg wrote that Carter’s book demonstrates his consistent “truth telling”. It is entitled, A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety.

Kellogg’s interview reinforces the truth-telling characteristic of Jimmy Carter that is at the center of his life as a moral man and a world leader. She writes:

“One challenge of Carter’s presidency was that he spoke the truth, even though during his years in the White House (1976-80), the truth was often bad news. He faced an energy crisis, a capsizing economy, opposition from Congress, and the revolution in Iran than led to American hostages being held captive 444 days.”

However, it was Carter’s truth-telling in his book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, which forced the Israel-Palestine issue into the light of the world’s attention and in many ways inspired the world wide BDS movement against Israel.

Without that book, which cost him dearly in American circles of power in the nation he led for four years, the truth of Palestinian occupation might still be struggling to gain a hearing in the court of world opinion.

Truth tellers are rarely appreciated and usually have only one option, tell their truth ~ but it is also the only way you can truly love yourself ~ which explains Jimmy Carter's inner peace of mind as he prepares to depart this life.

Noam Chomsky wrote this about Carter's genuine religious fundamentalism ~  "Since Jimmy Carter, religious fundamentalists play a major role in elections. He was the first president who made a point of exhibiting himself as a born again Christian. That sparked a little light in the minds of political campaign managers: Pretend to be a religious fanatic and you can pick up a third of the vote right away. Nobody asked whether Lyndon Johnson went to church every day. Bill Clinton is probably about as religious as I am, meaning zero, but his managers made a point of making sure that every Sunday morning he was in the Baptist church singing hymns.”

Hamilton Jordan worked for Carter and offers this telling insight ~ "It's hard to look inside a person to answer a question about why anybody wants to be president. I suppose a combination of ambition, ego, and a real feeling that he could make a difference and could accomplish some things. All you ever had to do for Jimmy Carter was to tell him something was impossible, and he would usually do it."

But Ambassador Andrew Young, who prays with Carter, wrote this telling assessment of his friend ~ "President Jimmy Carter was a citizen soldier. Ironically, he was considered weak because he didn't kill anybody and he didn't get anyone killed."

Out of such supposed weakness grow giants of moral integrity such as Jimmy Carter.

A ZIONIST GENERAL'S SON SHATTERS THE MYTHS

The U.S. condoned war zone of Gaza with omnipresent Israeli watchtower

The myth of Israel's right to Palestine as well as their illegal and brutal U.S. supported Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza has finally been exposed and shattered by a Zionist Generals' son, Miko Peled ~ who reveals in his book that Israel's rabid Zionists are very similar to America's rabid neo-conservatives and that the only hope for the region depends on a bottom up American public outcry for human rights and democracy to replace the current Israel Garrison state of subjugation and apartheid: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

Innocent victim of U.S. condoned and military supported Apartheid in Gaza

On Wednesday, Gaza's health ministry, which keeps casualty figures, said 209 Palestinians had been killed and 1,560 were injured as the fighting continued for a ninth day. At least 39 children and 24 women were among the dead, officials said. In actuality, 80% of the killed and injured are civilians. Remember, there is no Israeli Iron Dome to protect Palestinian civilians and children ~ this is not war, it's genocide.

Below is a photograph of the anguished wail of a grieving father of one of the four young boys who was killed by an Israeli strike in Gaza on Wednesday. The boys, all cousins and under the age of 12, had been playing soccer on the beach when the Israelis attack occurred. The man’s picture, by photographer Hosam Salem, was taken during the boys’ funeral.

The open sore of  man's brutal inhumanity to man continues unabated in Gaza despite the cries of many of the world's humanitarian leaders to end this Zionist and American sanctioned slaughter of occupied and oppressed civilians and their rightful defenders. This ongoing atrocity is paying a psychic toll on the world's conscience and can no longer go on unabated without severe consequences.

In December of 2013, I summarized my outraged feelings which also included a 4 minute video clip of former president Jimmy Carter commenting on Hard Ball regarding the truth about Israel. See article and video ~ http://www.veteransnewsnow.com/2013/12/18/the-worlds-long-festering-truth-israel-is-an-illegal-garrison-state/

Here's Carter's Hardball 5 minute TV appearance by itself ~ and note how it is abruptly ended as Carter's talking points take effect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvtC_qzHVM4&feature=player_embedded

But now we have an honest Israeli Jew, Miko Peled, the son of a Zionist General, telling the Real Truth about Israel and the ravages of unchecked Zionism.

Miko Peled was born in Jerusalem into a famous and influential Israeli Zionist family. His father was a famous General in the Israeli Army, of which Miko also served his time. When Miko's niece was killed by Palestinian suicide bombers, you may have expected the family to put Palestinians at fault, but surprisingly they blamed the state of Israel, and their violent torturing and persecution for driving people to such sadness that they would take their own lives.

Through his father's deep knowledge of the Israeli war of terror, together with his own research, Miko Peled peals away the myths surrounding the Israel and Palestine situation, and delivers a truth so damning that many Jews and Israel supporters will not be able to bear it. He reveals facts such as the original expelled Jews are not the ones returning, and they are not their descendants either, covers the double standards regarding the right of return, which doesn't apply to Palestinians, and dispels the myth that there has been a conflict for ages by producing proof that it was peaceful up until 1947 when Israel launched their illegal attacks.

Miko is just one of the many modern day Jews against Zionism and the state of Israel, and with the information he delivers in this astounding talk, it is not difficult to see why more and more Jews are rejecting Zionism and calling for the dismantling of Israel. It is a true eye-opener for anyone who has for too long been blinded by the fake misinformation given by the mainstream media, and the truths come straight from the heartland where he has spent many years documenting the real story.

The last 20 minutes of this riveting 65 minute video are spontaneous questions and answers where Miko shares that the current preoccupation of Israel with Iran is a smokescreen to cover up apartheid with Palestine, that the only law that applies to Palestinians is Israeli military law and that only a bottom up American demand for human rights and democracy can change or break the Israeli garrison apartheid state and its AIPAC supporters.

As Margaret Kimberley correctly writes in ICH ~ "Of all the partners in international crime in existence right now, the United States and Israel are the worst. Along with their less powerful cohorts like Saudi Arabia they have instigated occupations and carnage on a mass scale. Yet while one hand washes the other, it isn’t always clear who controls whom. Israel uses the political and economic muscle of its supporters to keep American politicians in line, but it also doesn’t have to work very hard to find a receptive ear in Washington."

JIMMY CARTER / AMERICA'S MOST FAMOUS TRUTH TELLER AND MORAL REVOLUTIONIST

2002 Nobel Peace Prize winner and Former President Jimmy Carter is America's most famous truth teller and moral revolutionist. Carter recently declared that "The U.S has no functioning Democracy" which did not appear in American mainstream press; Carter rightfully defends NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden actions declaring that "the invasion of human rights and American privacy has gone too far" and finally Carter still correctly argues argues that "Israel's continued control and colonization of Palestine land have been the primary obstacles to a comprehensive peace agreement in the Middle East." ~ and yet Jimmy Carter continues to be ostracized by the global elite and main stream press who obviously deeply fear his revolutionary moral truths: Allen L Roland

Only the truth is revolutionary and with that in mind, former president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Jimmy Carter is our most famous living truth teller and moral revolutionist ~ who continues to gnaw at the collective conscience of a spiritually faltering America with his penetrating truths, which are based on universal moral principles of equality, fairness and justice.

Here's excerpts of Carter's exact works on the moral apathy which was already beginning to grip our nation ~ "Our people are losing that faith, not only in government itself but in the ability as citizens to serve as the ultimate rulers and shapers of our democracy.

Here are some famous Jimmy Carter quotes which give ample evidence of his moral courage;

"I think what's going on in Guantanamo Bay and other places is a disgrace to the U.S.A. I wouldn't say it's the cause of terrorism, but it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists to lash out at our country and justify their despicable acts."  Jimmy Carter

So it gives me great comfort to watch Jimmy Carter continue to weave his moral magic throughout the world oblivious to the snickers and silence from the main stream media and global elite ~ but true to his deep sense of moral truth and justice as well as his willingness to deal with controversial issues. A great example is his book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, as well as his current defense of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, shared at a closed door meeting of Atlantic Bridge, and reported by the German newspaper Der Spiegel but ignored by America media outlets ~ and only accessed through the alternative press:

"The English translation of Carter's remarks was published in the online news source Inquisitr.com. No American media outlets reported on the closed meeting and it was not clear where Der Spiegel got its information, Inquisitr noted. But both Inquisitr and Huffington Post, which also carried the story, noted that the quotes were consistent with previous published remarks by the former president.
In June, Huffington Post noted, Carter addressed the Snowden controversy in an interview with CNN after the 29-year-old intelligence analyst had flown from Hong Kong to Moscow in his quest for asylum from the U.S. government that is seeking to prosecute him for espionage and theft of government property. "He's obviously violated the laws of America, for which he's responsible," Carter said at that time, "but I think the invasion of human rights and American privacy has gone too far." The Georgia Democrat also said nations that were offering asylum to Snowden were acting within their rights. "I think that the secrecy that has been surrounding this invasion of privacy has been excessive, so I think that the bringing of it to the public notice has probably been, in the long term, beneficial," Carter said. See Article ~ http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/16043-jimmy-carter-defends-snowden-says-u-s-has-no-functioning-democracy

How refreshing it is to experience a modern day American president, or in this case former president, who is actually walking his talk.
