In Washington, They're All Pigs At The Same Trough

IN WASHINGTON / THEY'RE ALL PIGS AT THE SAME TROUGH

It's always the same in Washington ~ whereas everyone is feeding at the Wall Street money trough while posturing about meaningful reform and exhibit A continues to be unmitigated dishonesty and greed: Allen L Roland

Paul Krugman wrote a few days ago correctly that much of our financial industry is a racket ~ " a game in which a handful of people are lavishly paid to mislead an exploit consumers and investors. And if we don't lower the boom on these practices ~ the racket will just go on."

But now, Bob Chapman, International Forecaster, is much more specific regarding the frauds and scandals on Wall Street and the imminent collapse of the financial system ~ " As the world faces an ongoing sovereign debt debacle we see an attempt to defuse an oncoming scandal involving Goldman Sachs, Paulson and perhaps others."

Excerpt: " This leads us to the frauds on Wall Street and banking. We have pointed out for some time that Wall Street and banking had turned into a criminal enterprise. They always skated down the edge, but nothing like what we have seen over the past 20 years. Having been in the brokerage industry for 28 years and around it for 50 years we have been in a position to observe it closely. Today it’s massively rife with criminality. The exposure of Lehman’s crimes in hearings has been unprecedented. We wonder how many other firms did the same thing and their actions were covered up by the Fed and the SEC, as well as the CFTC? They are still underestimating debt levels by 40 to 50 percent, which means their focus reports are useless. The spirit of honesty and integrity still doesn’t exist. They are essentially keeping two sets of books and that makes their financial statements useless and fraudulent. That doesn’t bother the SEC, the BIS, the FASB, the Treasury or the Fed; they supervise the lawbreaking. Debt levels are massively understated by keeping two sets of books and by marking-to-model, fantasy, not to market. All of this is a result of the termination of the Glass Steagal Act It is all fraud, even if the government sanctions it. They are all acting in concert to screw the investor and the public. These people are all criminals. The excuse is that they are too big to fail. It is all fraud no matter which way you cut it. This is a criminal syndicate that should legally be out of business ~ bankrupt. They are all being bailed out, but we do not see the public being bailed out. The bailout of banking, Wall Street and insurance is still in process and there is no end in sight. There are two sets of laws. One for the Illuminists/elitist and another for us. Congress won’t do anything about it because most of them have been paid off."
In Summary ~ In Washington they're all pigs feeding at the same trough and nothing will change until truth and transparency are brought to Wall Street, the Glass Steagal Act is restored, criminal charges are filed and the Fed is audited.

George W Bush's Decision Points / Ripe For Parody

GEORGE W BUSH'S DECISION POINTS / RIPE FOR PARODY

George W Bush's book Decisions Points is due out in early November but it is already ripe for parody for Bush has been anything but decisive and his decisions have been generally disastrous: Allen L Roland

Decision Point: Was it appropriate for me to illegally invade a sovereign country under false pretenses and kill and displace over a million Iraqi civilians which resulted in the unneccessary deaths of thousands of American soldiers ?

Key Decision: Why not ? We had to find a scapegoat for our 9/11 false flag adventure, Cheney was already carving up Iraqi's oil fields and I like playing Commander in Chief ~ it was a No Brainer !
More than half a year prior to its publication, President Bush's memoir is already available for nearly half price. My parody cover is just one of many that will grace the Internet for months to come.
The book, "Decision Points," will retail for $35 but is 46 percent off with a pre-order purchase from Borders.com. Yesterday, Crown Publishers unveiled the cover photo for the book and announced a Nov. 9 release date, one week after the mid-term elections. http://gawker.com/5524256/here-is-the-cover-for-george-w-bushs-memoir
Bush will meet his mortal enemy Humiliation when he launches his book tour in November which will be met with scathing ridicule along with devastating reviews from a public who will not let him forget that he was largely responsible for the moral and economic collapse of our Republic during his eight year rein of ineptitude.

Power And Privilege Versus Truth And Justice

POWER AND PRIVILEGE VERSUS TRUTH AND JUSTICE

The dilemma of today's world is that the pursuit of power and privilege is usually at the expense of truth and justice and therein lies the achilles heal of the power elite and the myths they perpetuate: Allen L Roland

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 54% of Americans lack confidence in the U.S. banking system ~ and rightfully so ! Unfortunately, we have an out of control credit-based financial system whereas power and privilege have prevailed and most certainly at the expense of truth and justice. As to the current SEC indictment, it will most likely result in a whitewash of Goldman and its executives or, at the most, a financial slap on the wrist ~ and, interestingly enough, Goldman hired former Obama White house legal counsel, Gregory Craig, to represent or more likely lobby on behalf of Goldman. Do remember, that Goldman was one of the two top contributors towards Obama's presidential campaign.

Nouriel Roubini correctly notes the true financial crisis in a recent essay:
" This is a crisis of solvency, not just liquidity, but true deleveraging has not begun yet because the losses of financial institutions have been socialised and put on government balance sheets. This limits the ability of banks to lend, households to spend and companies to invest...
The releveraging of the public sector through its build-up of large fiscal deficits risks crowding out a recovery in private sector spending
."

Thus, we have the current failure of the Obama administration attempts to re-inflate the same credit bubble that burst two years ago through the Fed's artificially low mismatched interest rates and bank bailouts ~ which were meant to spill down to increased consumer credit and debt.

But the real problem is Wall Street's addiction to a credit based economy at the expense of the stark reality of a deepening depression and debt ridden Main Street. As StatsGuy points out last Monday on The Baseline Scenario ~ " To the uneducated masses, replacing savings with credit may sound a bit frightening, but economists can demonstrate – mathematically – that this credit-based money system is far more efficient than injecting money through the crude process of “printing” and government spending. That’s because endogenous money creation is decentralized – anyone with an opportunity and willingness to take risks (and collateral) can (theoretically) get credit to fund an investment. This, presumably, is why Larry Summers is so infatuated with the credit system, and why Obama argues that credit – not money – is the lifeblood of a modern economy."

We are presently stuck with an over extended credit based system and most certainly a mountain of dangerous unfunded obligations. StatsGuy points out the obvious regarding the need for regulation under the current precarious circumstances and the myth of stability ~ " any talk of financial reform rings hollow unless it’s accompanied by serious proposals to fix the discount rate mismatch problem and deal with unfunded obligations ...
" But maybe – if we’re lucky – we’ll get a modern day Pecora who will haul Goldman's Lloyd Blankfein to the witness stand, and taunt him till he breaks. Imagine, for a moment, Mr. Blankfein losing his cool while ranting in Jack Nicholson’s voice . . .

You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth. Son, we live in a country with an investment gap. And that gap needs to be filled by men with money. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Middle Class Consumer? Goldman Sachs has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lehman and you curse derivatives. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what we know: that Lehman’s death, while tragic, probably saved the financial system. And that Goldman’s existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves pension funds. You don’t want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want us to fill that investment gap. You need us to fill that gap."

“We use words like credit default swaps, collateralized debt obligation, and securitization… We use these words as the backbone of a life spent investing in something. You use ‘em as a punchline. We have neither the time nor the inclination to explain ourselves to a commoner who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very credit we provide, and then questions the manner in which we provide it! We’d rather you just said thank you and paid your taxes on time. Otherwise, we suggest you get an account and start trading. Either way, we don’t give a damn what you think you’re entitled to!” http://baselinescenario.com/2010/04/19/discount-rate-mismatch/?

So there it is ~ you heard it ~ the voice of the power elite wielding its power and privilege and advertising it as the backbone of our morally decayed financial industry. Paul Krugman correctly states that much of our financial industry is a racket ~ " a game in which a handful of people are lavishly paid to mislead an exploit consumers and investors. And if we don't lower the boom on these practices ~ the racket will just go on."

And when it comes to privilege, according to Eric Lichtblau of the New York Times, “more than 125 former Congressional aides and lawmakers are now working for financial firms as part of a multibillion-dollar effort to shape, and often scale back, federal regulatory power.”

For example, Federal records show that "Financial services companies increased their spending to influence Congress during the first three months of the year, while also hiring well-connected lobbyists to press their case on new Wall Street regulations." Goldman Sachs spent $1.2 million in 2010's first quarter, 72 percent more than last year, while Citigroup spent $1.4 million, a 13.5 percent increase.

Here's Gerald Celente's five minute scathing analysis on what's really happening with Goldman, Obama and Wall Street reform.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6_iR5C_BzU&feature=player_embedded

It's been three years since the over-inflated housing market began its crash and it's been a year and half since the Wall Street meltdown. We can no longer afford this ongoing pursuit of power and privilege at the expense of truth and justice !

Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) and others in Congress are boldly urging the Justice Department to launch a criminal investigation of Goldman and others who may have broken the law as they devastated our economy.
Now is the moment to make clear: Nobody on Wall Street is "too big for jail."

The Seven Stages Of Relationship / Few Get Beyond Stage Six

THE SEVEN STAGES OF RELATIONSHIP / FEW GET BEYOND STAGE SIX

Relationship is a means to an end versus an end in itself. The true purpose of relationship is the full flowering of each partner but only those who conquer fear reach the seventh stage of fulfilled love : Allen L Roland

Most people are afraid of love because they are afraid of their own deepest joy, delight and inner freedom.

In relationship, we must reach a place where being honest and being true to yourself is more important than the survival of the relationship ! Let me illustrate this using Stendhal's and Roland's seven stages of a love relationship :

1. ADMIRATION " I really admire you as a person "

2. BEGINNING OF DESIRE " I think I'd like to get to know you better."

3. HOPE " I hope you feel the same way about me "

4. INCEPTION OF LOVE " I think I'm falling in love with you "

5. FIRST CRYSTALLIZATION " I see the beauty and perfection within you "

6. DOUBT, FEAR AND/OR JEALOUSY, ANGER AND RESENTMENT " You're going to hurt me or betray me like others have "

This is where Stendhal ended his six stages of love for it is the stage where most, if not all, emotional relationships end with mutual anger, resentment or fear submerging all traces of the original love. What we do not realize in this stage is that these feelings are often associated with earlier childhood or relationship hurts we felt with loved ones and we are face to face with the decisions we made at that time to repress and deny our deepest feelings ~ because there was seemingly no-one there for us. We can either run, as most people do, or go inside and go through these fears by not denying the love, taking accountability for these feelings and stop being a victim ! You cannot escape stage six until you are willing to go inside, take total accountability for your actions and feelings and stop denying love. This takes great courage but the payoff is immense ! Resentment doesn't heal ! Anger doesn't heal ! Only love truly heals !

7. ROLAND'S SECOND CRYSTALLIZATION " I feel the beauty and perfection within myself and I'm sharing it with my partner and the world "

This Stage cannot be accomplished unless we realize our ultimate quest in life is to fully experience our authentic self and our connection to our original state of soul consciousness. IT IS A PLACE OF INNER VALIDATION VERSUS OUTER VALIDATION ! " Until I let go I cannot grow ", "Great love can both take hold and let go." When you let go in relationship, you do not let go of the love ~ you let go of your outer dependency for love. To let go with love you must, in essence, consciously love your partner by allowing them to follow their path, regardless of the risk to your relationship. Conscious love ( non-possessive, non-dependent and unconditional love ) is rarely obtained between humans. The conscious love motive, in its most developed state, is the wish that the object should arrive at its own innate perfection ~ regardless of the consequences to the lover or partner. It is total unconditional love and when we come from this place we are embracing our deepest spiritual essence and a state of soul consciousness within ourselves. The paradox of this attitude is that such love always evokes eventually a similar attitude in its objects because we all seek, at the deepest level, to be unconditionally loved. As such, when we allow love to be our guiding intention through our thoughts and feelings and learn to trust unconditional love ~ we begin to see through clearer eyes and all things come into perfect balance and harmony

The path to the soul is always through doors of fear and most of those fears appear in relationship. You don't realize those fears are illusions until you stop denying love and go through them. Only then can you truly claim the greatest gift ~ yourself.

Only then can you become a fragment of life's heart and transcend time and space in the process ~ for the hearts' desire is to love so deeply that we become one with a Unified Field of love, joy and soul consciousness.

You Are My Mother, Earth

YOU ARE MY MOTHER, EARTH

"The sheer beauty of it just brought tears to my eyes. If people can see Earth from up here, see it without those borders, see it without any differences in race or religion, they would have a completely different perspective. Because when you see it from that angle, you cannot think of your home or your country. All you can see is one Earth ." Anousheh Ansari, Iranian-American space tourist, describing planet Earth from space.

Only those who have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and trod the untrespassed sanctity of space can fully experience the miracle of our Earth's fragile, precarious and fortunate existence. It is truly our mother ~ all nourishing and nurturing with love to spare if we will but surrender to it.

I have briefly sensed it as a high altitude Navy fighter pilot from 60,000 feet, skating on the edge of space in my silver Interceptor jet, and was always deeply moved ~ but only an astronaut has truly seen the small blue marble that is our home and their words have been recorded here as we celebrate another Earth day in 2010 ~ along with a special original song ( You Are My Mother, Earth ) written by Scott Deturk and sung by myself.

Stephen McGinty ( Scotsman ) wrote of Earth's luminous and fragile existence in space in 2007 and how fortunate we were to be living on this " Blue Marble " ~ by using the words of the astronauts themselves.

" It is called the "Blue Marble." The image of Earth, reduced to a child's toy suspended in the blackness of space. It was Christmas Eve in 1968 when the people of the world first caught a glimpse of their small place in the universe. Apollo 8 had entered lunar orbit and that evening the three astronauts featured in a live television broadcast showing images of our blue planet.

Stuck for words to describe a spectacle never before seen, they reached for the Bible and each man read a passage from Genesis. Frank Borman, the Apollo 8 commander, ended with: "And God called the land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called the Seas: and God saw that it was good."

The population of Earth, meanwhile, saw that it was not only good, but fragile. Jim Lovell, the command module pilot, said during the original broadcast: "The vast loneliness is awe-inspiring, and it makes you realize just what you have back there on Earth."

Those first images of Earth also helped to inspire our current environmental movement and led to Earth Day, which will be celebrated this month by 500 million people across 175 countries. Founded by Gaylord Nelson, a senator from Wisconsin, as a means of drawing attention to the plight of the planet, it was first held on April 22,1970. What began with a series of national demonstrations across the U.S. has since rippled out across the globe.

Today, the movement's message ~ to highlight concerns over pollution of the soil, air, and water ~ has reached as far as China, whose leaders have urged local government to devise events.

Last year, to reflect the inspiration behind those original images of our Earth, astronauts were asked to share their reflections on a view from the heavens.

"I see the deep black of space and this just brilliantly gorgeous blue and white arc of the Earth and totally unconsciously, not at all able to help myself, I said, ' Wow, look at that.'" Kathy Sullivan, first American woman to spacewalk, recalling what she said when she saw Earth in 1984.

"Up in space when you see a sunset or sunrise, the light is coming to you from the sun through that little shell of the Earth's atmosphere and back out to the spacecraft you're in. The atmosphere acts like a prism. So for a short period of time you see not only the reds, oranges and yellows, the luminous quality like you see on Earth, but you see the whole spectrum red-orange-yellow-blue-green-indigo-violet... You come back impressed, once you've been up there, with how thin our little atmosphere is that supports all life here on Earth. So if we foul it up, there's no coming back from something like that." John Glenn, first American to orbit the Earth (1962) and former U.S. Senator.

"It was the only color we could see in the universe. We're living on a tiny little dust mote in left field on a rather insignificant galaxy. And basically this is it for humans. It strikes me that it's a shame that we're squabbling over oil and borders." Bill Anders, Apollo 8, whose photos of Earth became famous.

"Earth has gone through great transitions and volcanic impacts and all sorts of traumatic things. But it has survived . . . I'm not referring to human conflicts. I'm referring to the physical appearance of the Earth at a great distance. That it generally is mostly very peaceful [when] looked at from a distance." Buzz Aldrin, second man to walk on the Moon.

"It's hard to appreciate the Earth when you're down right upon it because it's so huge. It gives you in an instant, just at a position 240,000 miles away from it, [an idea of] how insignificant we are, how fragile we are, and how fortunate we are to have a body that will allow us to enjoy the sky and the trees and the water . . . It's something that many people take for granted when they're born and they grow up within the environment. But they don't realize what they have. And I didn't till I left it." Jim Lovell, Apollo 8 and 13.

"From up there, it looks finite and it looks fragile and it really looks like just a tiny little place on which we live in a vast expanse of space. It gave me the feeling of really wanting us all to take care of the Earth. I got more of a sense of Earth as home, a place where we live. And of course you want to take care of your home. You want it clean. You want it safe." --Winston Scott, two-time shuttle astronaut who wrote a book, *Reflections From Earth Orbit*.

"You change because you see your life differently than when you live on the surface everyday. We are so involved in our own little lives and our own little concerns and problems. I don't think the average person realizes the global environment that we really live in. I certainly am more aware of how fragile our Earth is, and, frankly, I think that I care more about our Earth because of the experiences I've had traveling in space." -Eileen Collins, first female space shuttle commander.

"I think you can't go to space and not be changed, in many ways . . .All of the teachings of the Bible that talk about the creator and his creation take on new meaning when you can view the details of the Earth from that perspective. So it didn't change my faith per se, the content of it, but it just enhanced it, it made it even more real." Jeff Williams, spent six months on the space station and set a record for most Earth photos taken.

In celebration of Earth Day 2010, here's a song I recorded with Scott Deturk and Mel Martin in early 2002 which celebrates our eternal Mother Earth. Click on and enjoy ~

Catholic Church Imploding

CATHOLIC CHURCH IMPLODING

Wounded sinner confesses to and is forgiven by himself

The Catholic church is imploding and mainly because Pope Benedict sees himself as the church when, in reality, he is a flawed human being who tried to cover up ongoing church sexual abuse scandals and is himself hiding behind Papal Infallibility: Allen L Roland

Reverend Father Hans Küng (born March 19, 1928, in Sursee, Canton of Lucerne), is a Swiss Catholic priest, controversial theologian, and prolific author but he is also a needed voice of enlightened inquiry and truth regarding the global cover-up of child rape and molestation by catholic priests as well as Pope Benedict's direct responsibility for the resulting implosion of credibility.

In an open letter to all Catholic Bishops, Kung points out several missed opportunities by Pope Benedict regarding the critical challenges of our times ~ the worst being the opportunity to make " the spirit of the Second Vatican Council the compass for the whole Catholic Church, including the Vatican itself, and thus to promote the needed reforms in the church. "

But Kung reserves his greatest criticism for Pope Benedict's role in allowing " the clerical abuse of thousands of children and adolescents, first in the United States, then in Ireland and now in Germany and other countries. And to make matters worse, the handling of these cases has given rise to an unprecedented leadership crisis and a collapse of trust in church leadership."

Kung doesn't hesitate to indict Pope Benedict for his role in this unprecedented moral leadership crisis ~ " There is no denying the fact that the worldwide system of covering up cases of sexual crimes committed by clerics was engineered by the Roman Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith under Cardinal Ratzinger (1981-2005). During the reign of Pope John Paul II, that congregation had already taken charge of all such cases under oath of strictest silence. Ratzinger himself, on May 18th, 2001, sent a solemn document to all the bishops dealing with severe crimes ( “epistula de delictis gravioribus” ), in which cases of abuse were sealed under the “secretum pontificium” , the violation of which could entail grave ecclesiastical penalties. With good reason, therefore, many people have expected a personal mea culpa on the part of the former prefect and current pope. Instead, the pope passed up the opportunity afforded by Holy Week: On Easter Sunday, he had his innocence proclaimed “urbi et orbi” by the dean of the College of Cardinals."
http://www.planetarymovement.org/go/religion-%26-faith/a-scandal-crying-out-to-heaven-by-hans-kung/

So, in essence, Pope Benedict has confessed to and been forgiven by himself ~ which doesn't cut the ice with Hans Kung or millions of other Catholics.

In his open letter to the church Bishops ~ Kung offers six proposals including the Call for a Council but it is proposal number four that refutes Papal Infallibility and strikes the correct chord in this deepening church crisis

4. Unconditional obedience is owed to God alone: " Although at your episcopal consecration you had to take an oath of unconditional obedience to the pope, you know that unconditional obedience can never be paid to any human authority; it is due to God alone. For this reason, you should not feel impeded by your oath to speak the truth about the current crisis facing the church, your diocese and your country. Your model should be the apostle Paul, who dared to oppose Peter “to his face since he was manifestly in the wrong”! ( Galatians 2:11 ). Pressuring the Roman authorities in the spirit of Christian fraternity can be permissible and even necessary when they fail to live up to the spirit of the Gospel and its mission. The use of the vernacular in the liturgy, the changes in the regulations governing mixed marriages, the affirmation of tolerance, democracy and human rights, the opening up of an ecumenical approach, and the many other reforms of Vatican II were only achieved because of tenacious pressure from below."

There you have it, the Catholic Chuch is imploding because it's allegiance to the Roman Pope has superceded it's allegiance to moral values and the true spirit of the gospel and its mission of hope and salvation to the destitute and oppressed.

The Pope is no more infallible than you or I and Benedict must either resign or publicly repent, ask for forgiveness and fully restore the reforms of Vatican II along with it the credibility of an imploding Institution ~ by seeking justice and restitution for those abused by the church on his watch.

Free Will / Hitler, Bush And The Power Of Love

FREE WILL / HITLER, BUSH AND THE POWER OF LOVE

Hitler at 6 years old

Most scientists feel that free will does not exist but I would argue that may be true in a state of ego consciousness but with the introduction of love ~ a far deeper soul based choice becomes available and would most likely be taken: Allen L Roland

Jesse Bering , Scientific American, wrote a compelling and intellectually stimulating article about free will in the April 6th issue of Scientific American. In explaining free will ~ he uses a hypothetical example of traveling back in space and time to visit the young child, Adolph Hitler, and then asks What would you do to him ? Would the future really have changed for the better ?

Excerpt:
" Suspend disbelief for a moment and imagine that you have agreed, as a secret agent in some confidential military operation, to travel back in time to the year 1894. To your astonishment, it’s a success! And now ~ after wiping away the magical time-traveling dust from your eyes ~ you find yourself on the fringes of some Bavarian village, hidden in a camouflaging thicket of wilderness against the edge of town, the distant, disembodied voices of nineteenth-century Germans mingling atmospherically with the unmistakable sounds of church bells.
Quickly, you survey your surroundings: you seem to be directly behind a set of old row houses; white linens have been hung out to dry; a little stream tinkles behind you; windows have been opened to let in the warm springtime air. How quaint. No one else appears to be about, although occasionally you glimpse a pedestrian passing between the narrow gaps separating the houses. And then you notice him. There’s a quiet, solemn-looking little boy nearby, playing quietly with some toys in the dirt. He looks to be about six years old ~ a mere kindergartner, in the modern era. It’s then that you’re reminded of your mission: this is the town of Passau in Southern Germany. And that’s no ordinary little boy. It’s none other than young Adolph Hitler (image above)
.

In your role of this time-travelling secret agent from the twenty-first century, you’ve been equipped with the following pieces of information. First, the time-travelling technology is still in its infancy, and researchers are doubtful that it will ever succeed again. Second, you have only ten minutes before being zapped back into the year 2010 (and two of those minutes have already elapsed since you arrived). Third, you’ve been informed that seven minutes is just enough time to throttle a six-year-old with your bare hands and to confirm, without a doubt, that the child is dead. This means that you have only one minute left to decide whether or not to assassinate the little boy ~ "

http://www.scientificamerican.com/blog/post.cfm?id=scientists-say-free-will-probably-d-2010-04-06&sc=WR_20100413

So what would you do ?

Bering asks the same question ~ " In any event, your minute is up! So what’s it going to be ~ and why ? With millions of future lives at stake, do you murder the innocent six-year-old boy as a pre-emptive homicide? Do you deliver the package to his parents, in the hopes that the shocking photos of the Holocaust will lead Adolph ~ one way or another ~ to choose a different career path, or even to flub his own rise to fame from all the pressure? Or, like those who lived in Nazi Germany and who were bombarded with (false) deterministic messages about the Jews, do you simply not intervene at all? "

Or do you do what I would do and thus greatly increase the likelihood that young Hitler may seek another choice in his life ~ by touching his heart.

You spend that seven minutes telling him what you see in your heart and that he is truly a gifted and beautiful child, regardless of how his dad treats him, and by speaking from your heart you touch his heart and he never forgets you.

How many of you remember early teachers who saw your gift when no one else seemed to care ?

How many of you longed, as a child, for someone to tell you that you were special ?

I still vividly remember my grandmother, who was extremely evolved spiritually but estranged from my mother, visiting my mother when I was six years old. I was emotionally alone, after having been taken away from my beloved Grandfather and probably convinced that no one could really see me.

She took my hand and silently read my palm and then smiled knowingly and lovingly squeezed it. That was it but I never forgot it ~ for in that magical few minutes I KNEW I was special and loved and I never forgot our meeting.

So now back to the young Hitler. We know he loved his dogs and probably because they were his one source of unconditional love ~ as they are for so many lonely children and adults. But I'm sure he also longed for someone like my grandmother to take his hand and tell him he was special and loved.

In other words, Hitler was not predestined to be the killing scourge of Europe but his early childhood emotional deprivation and fear of failure set the stage for his later psychopathic behaviors ~ much like G.W. Bush blowing up frogs as a child and his later behavior as the 'Killing Machine' Governor of Texas and President of the United States with the blood of a million people on his hands ~ the overwhelming majority of them innocent, non-combatant Iraqi civilians .

The key to comprehending George W Bush is also understanding his almost psychotic fear of failure and humiliation which caused him to avoid reality at all costs and drove his messianic behavior and agenda ~ much like it did Hitler's in the 1930's and 40's. Both Hitler and Bush seemingly had no conscience ~ nor empathy for that matter. What takes precedence is their ego externalized God driven agenda ~ " I believe that God wants me to be president.” George W. Bush ~ "I would like to thank Providence and the Almighty for choosing me of all people to be allowed to wage this battle for Germany," Hitler - Berlin March, 1936. In essence, Hitler and Bush were two emotional cripples playing out their roles in history.

However, back to my main point ~ never underestimate the power of love because it resides deepest within each one of us ( the Unified Field ) and also the fact that no problem can be solved through the same consciousness that created it.

ONLY LOVE UNITES AND HEALS

Our Tax Dollars At Work / Killing Machines

OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK / KILLING MACHINES

Plane: Boeing Apache attack Helicopter.
Engine: Powered by two General Electric T700 turboshaft engines
Target Acquisition / Designation system: Lockheed Martin
Mission: Destruction of high-value targets ( not civilians )
Armament: Hellfire missile and 30MM chain gun (1200 rounds) and Hydra lethal rockets for wide variety of targets.
Cost: $12 million off the shelf / $ 15 million fully armed.

53 cents of every dollar we pay in income taxes goes to military spending and the Military Industrial Complex such as Boeing ~ which gets 51% of its total revenue from military contracts for killing machines: Allen L Roland

The irrepressible Mark Morford, SFGate.com, precisely sums up my feelings about our out-of-control Military Industrial Complex and rabid War Machine ~ " We have the largest, most bloated war machine in the world. We sell more guns, tanks, jets and warheads to more dictators, regimes and drug cartels than anyone on the planet. Are your local schools crumbling? Public hospitals failing? Entire state dumber than Glenn Beck's fact checker? Blame the military, at least in part, for sucking down about $1.6 trillion every year."

Jason Ditz writes on April 14th on antiwar.com ~ " From Dow Chemical’s manufacture of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War to the Cyclone Power Technologies man-eating battle droids of today, military contractors have inevitably faced questions about the ethical use of their products in decidedly unethical conflicts. Thanks to last week’s Wikileaks video release, it is now Boeing’s turn under the microscope."
One of Boeing's products, the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, was front and center in the Wikileaks video, as the helicopters mowed down some 12 civilians, two of them reporters for Reuters.
Boeing's arrogant advertisements of their killing machines have deservedly left them open to parody and here's a great one. Click on ~ 2 minute video

Stop funding these illegal occupations and the parasitic Military Industrial complex which profits from them.

A Pale Blue Dot / Humanity In Perspective

A PALE BLUE DOT / HUMANITY IN PERSPECTIVE

That pale blue dot is a picture of Earth taken by Voyager 1, from 4 billion miles away, as it was leaving our solar system in 1990 ~ courtesy of Space.com
It was William Blake who died singing songs to his wife and who wrote ' We are put on Earth a little space to bear the beams of love ' and who knew it was love that joined us to the Universe and that love was also deepest within each one of us : Allen L Roland

Obviously, as Carl Sagan wrote ~ "The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena." Here's a must see Five minute Video narrated by Carl Sagan. ( Click on )
We are, indeed, a small planet attached to a medium sized star that is one of 200 billion stars in our Galaxy ~ a Galaxy so large that it takes our sun star 200 million years to complete one cycle. And our Galaxy is one of millions of galaxies.

But there must be something that joins us to this incomprehensible vastness in space and I submit that it is love ~
The basic underlying and uniting force of the Universe is a psychic energy field of love and soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) which lies not only beyond time and space but ALSO beneath our deepest fears and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite ~ Allen L Roland

Can it really be this simple ? Yes, it is this simple but to truly grasp humanity in perspective you must fully open your heart ~ for only then will you feel you are part of something far greater than yourself. Through love, and only love, we glimpse a great truth ~ that the basic condition of being human is love. And that we are all not only blessed to be here on this planet EARTH, this pale blue dot, but we chose to be here !
