The NBA pretenders Atlanta and Houston have been eliminated by Cleveland and Golden State in the division NBA championships. Now it's finally time for the show down we have all been waiting for ~ NBA MVP Stephen Curry versus all world LeBron James in an epic battle for NBA supremacy: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

It's difficult not to get excited about the upcoming NBA finals  between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors with their two respective superstars ~ Stephen Curry and LeBron James in a battle between the last two NBA most valuable players.

It's David versus Goliath for this will indeed be high drama in a championship series which may well go seven games. Stephen Curry's three point prowess and outstanding passing against the all-around proven ability and playoff experience of LeBron James ~ who seemingly wills his team to victory with his incredible ability to score, rebound and make assists when it counts.

Outside of Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant, the 30-year-old James has logged the most playoff minutes (7,258) among active players ~ that total ranks 11th in NBA history.

Both teams have excellent bench players but Golden State has a distinct advantage with their first year coach, Steve Kerr ~ as a player a former 5-time NBA champion, winning three championships with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs.

Kerr as Warriors head coach in February 2015

Kerr broke the NBA record for the most regular season wins for a rookie coach. Kerr was widely considered the favorite to win the 2015 NBA Coach of the Year but lost to Mike Budenholzer, head coach of the Atlanta Hawks.

Kerr's coaching could well be the deciding factor in a series that will feature a duel between this year's NBA MVP, Stephen Curry and last year's MVP LeBron James who has won two NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals, an NBA scoring title, and the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. He has also been selected to 11 NBA All-Star teams, 11 All-NBA teams, and six All-Defensive teams, and is the Cavaliers' all-time leading scorer.

LeBron became the first player in playoff history to produce a stat line of at least 37 points, 18 boards and 13 assists while defeating Atlanta in Game three of their Eastern Division championship. His greatness, court presence and game dominance can no longer be ignored. There are those who believe his time has almost come to dethrone Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player of our time. As Shawn Windsor, Detroit Free Press, writes ~ "LeBron is Magic Johnson with a better jumper, better ball skills, more athletic ability and more power. And you're telling me that player isn't the best player ever?"

James with the Cavaliers in November 2014

Stephen Curry, was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warrior. During the 2012–13 season, he set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. The next season, Curry and teammate Klay Thompson set the NBA record for combined threes in a season with 484 as the pair were given the nickname the "Splash Brothers". In 2014–15, Curry eclipsed his own record by knocking down his 273rd three-pointer on April 9, 2015, finishing the regular season with 286 three-pointers and was named MVP after leading the Warriors to a franchise-record and NBA-best 67 wins on the season.

The heavily anticipated duel between superman LeBron James and superstar Stephen Curry will make for great theater on this world championship stage ~ but Golden State's home court advantage plus a stronger bench and Kerr's playoff experience may make the difference in a stirring championship series which could well go seven games.

LeBron in Flight against Atlanta Hawks in Game Four

On the other hand, I have watched Michael Jordan in his prime win six NBA championships ~ but I am not convinced we have seen the absolute best of LeBron James as he attempts to win his third NBA world title. A deeply motivated LeBron James is obviously on a personal mission ~ and it just may lead to an individual level of play we have never before witnessed in an NBA Final.

As Teilhard de Chardin once correctly wrote ~ We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience ~ for right now the innate evolutionary forces of love and light are manifesting  on the planet and they are demanding that we all participate and find our role in this rapidly evolving loving plan in action: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

I am observing a strange and wonderful phenomenon in my ongoing work as a heart centered consultant, advisor and mentor ~ people are no longer resisting the pull of their soul and want to be part of a growing worldwide spiritual resurrection.

David Degraw calls it a spiritual Insurrection or revolt ~ "When you take bold and courageous action, your consciousness expands, doors open, doors that fear-based consciousness cannot see. Bold and passionate action, free of fear, driven by love, is a portal into another dimension  of consciousness ~ a new paradigm."

David explains this in his new book Freedom in a Time of Mental Slavery:

Excerpt: "I get the same question over and over again. People always say, “I know how corrupt the political and economic system is, but what should I do to help create change? Should I focus on getting money out of politics or breaking up the banks? Should I use alternative currencies? Should I focus on environmental issues? Should I support solar energy? Should I grow organic food? Should I vote for third parties?....... I always give the same advice to everyone. First and foremost, forget about politics and external forces of any kind. Forget about 10-point political plans and ideologies. Those are all byproducts… First and foremost, focus within, align with your inner spirit and everything else will take care of itself. What is it that you are most passionate about? What do you love most? Go do that, and do it boldly, without fear…..We live in a time of fear-based mental slavery. The corrupt political and economic system is a byproduct of the fear-based ego. The shortsighted greed that is enslaving humanity and destroying the planet is a byproduct of the fear-based ego…."

David also poses the question Do You want Freedom ~ genuine freedom?

And offers the correct answer ~  "Lose the fear, the fear of being judged, the fear of fitting in, the fear of failure, the fear of societal pressures upon you, the fear of outside pressure of any kind. Lose the fear….Your freedom, your happiness and evolution, your path to becoming a positive force for all the people around you, therefore, our freedom ~  The path to global revolution, global evolution, the path to an entirely new paradigm will open up when you focus on what you love, when you align with your inner passion and flow. When you vibrate from love, the multiverse opens up to you. That’s the secret. That’s the real revolution of consciousness that we need. " See article ~

David is writing something that I have been demonstrating for the last 40 years ~ When you vibrate from love, the Universe opens up to you ~ that’s the secret ~ that’s the real revolution of consciousness that is now happening ~ a shift from ego consciousness to soul consciousness facilitated by surrendering to love and your part in a loving plan by quite simply saying YES to yourself and not being controlled by fear.

This is not a worldwide Insurrection but instead a worldwide Resurrection because we all once knew this fearless place of soul consciousness as a young child before we made the decision to become something other than our self, to become controlled by fear and to settle for less than our authentic self as well as settle for ego consciousness versus soul consciousness.

In Tenet Three of my Unified Field  I explain how we separate from our authentic self as well as soul based destiny:

Finding the Unified Field was an act of surrender. Owning and proving it has been an act of courage. Initially, it was surrendering to and embracing an alone little boy within me who always knew this truth. Then it was a slow process of finding the courage to stand alone, own my truth, and speak it, regardless of the risks.

Let me make this clear - every tenet of my Unified Field is based on my own personal experience and my experience with my clients. Which is why it took eight years for me to fully prove it in 1987 and which is why I no longer call it a theory.

What follows are the three basic tenets of the Unified Field.

Tenet One

The basic underlying force of the universe is a psychic energy field of universal love, within which gravitational and electromagnetic fields, the strong and weak forces in the atom, and all other forces of nature, including time and space, are merely conditions of state. Within this psychic realm of love, paranormal events such as clairvoyance, telepathy, precognition and near-death experiences are also conditions of state. The principal property of this field of love is its propensity to unite, complete and fulfill all living beings within a constantly evolving loving plan. This field of love is the absolute constant of the universe in that within it, time and space do not exist. Thus, we are instantly joined with the past, present and future of a universe which is in the process of uniting, completing and fulfilling itself.

Tenet Two

The consciousness of the observer is the determining factor in being able to perceive the Unified Field, and the depth of one's sensory experience is what determines this consciousness. In that regard, our most profound sensory experience is the total surrender to what is deepest within ourselves, that is, the surrender to love and a joyful state of soul consciousness - which is the awareness of an evolving loving plan and the taking of responsibility for one's function within that plan. The Unified Field is therefore a state of soul consciousness. That state which limits or denies our perception of the Unified Field is ego consciousness.

Tenet Three

It would appear that the pain of not feeling loved for oneself and being seemingly separated from our original state of soul consciousness and the Unified Field is of such deep psychic proportions that, early in childhood, processes are triggered in the hypothalamus which result in a left brain imbalance and dominance as well as the denial, mistrust and forgetting of our connection to the Unified Field and the love and joy and a state of soul consciousness deepest within us. It is from this dark tunnel of pain, aloneness, despair and apparent death that the ego and ego consciousness is born - for survival and protection purposes only. As such, death or the idea of death, is an illusion measured by the limits of our consciousness.

Think of the ego as a protective cocoon that is eventually meant to be shed. The Unified Field can be visualized as a grid of great luminosity joining all living beings within its energy field of love. The words of Longfellow would seem appropriate in describing this all-encompassing field or grid: "The thread of all sustaining beauty that runs through all and doth all unite."

In my work as a soul based heart centered consultant, mentor and advisor, particularly with combat veterans with PTSD ~  I literally help them find that lost child in our first session, then help them connect the spiritual love dots of their lifetime quest to find themselves in the second session, then assist them in taking total accountability for their lives in the next session and then they meet the magical child in the fourth session ~ a child who has been existing in a cocoon of fear and ego consciousness and waiting to be reconnected to its original soul based state of soul consciousness.

They all have access to these self-healing steps in my updated Kindle Book RADICAL THERAPY, SURRENDER TO LOVE AND HEAL YOURSELF IN SEVEN  SESSIONS (not seven years). Here is the Kindle link

And here's a link to the YouTube sessions of the self-healing process I teach ~ Watch, in the first 20 minutes, how Marina conquers her deepest fear and demonstrates that beneath her pain and fear is boundless joy, See video

Here is an actual but very typical example of what happens when they meet the child within in a guided visualization ~ and are offered another soul based choice of behavior versus the continued strategies and devices of the ego.

1.   What do I have to do to fully embrace you in my life ?  OPEN YOUR HEART

                    2.   What’s my deepest fear ? BEING ALONE

                          3.   Is that fear an illusion ?  YES ( LAUGHING )

                   4.   Can I Trust this process ?  YES      Why ?  IT BROUGHT YOU  TO ME

                   5.   Is there joy beneath my pain ? YES ( KNOWINGLY )

                   6. How important is this work?   A MUST ~ THIS IS IT    Why ?  SO YOU CAN RECLAIM YOURSELF

                   7.   What’s my next step ? SURRENDER , BE IN THE MOMENT

      8. Your question ~    IS IT MY TIME NOW ?         Answer ~ YES

                  9. The most important advice you can give me now ?   BE YOURSELF / AT THE RISK OF EVERYTHING

               10. Is there anything else you want to tell me ?  I LOVE  YOU

They are now at a place of another choice and have met their real coach ~ themselves. But in the process of this inner process, they have opened their heart and opened a door to not only their authentic self but also their authentic vocation within a loving plan in action.

So perhaps this simple Cherokee tale of two wolves best describes how we can all begin to  reconnect to not only our real self but also our original soul based state of soul consciousness.

One evening, an elderly
cherokee brave told his
grandson about a battle that
goes on inside people.

he said "
my son, the battle is
between two 'wolves' inside us all

one is evil.

it is anger,
envy, jealousy, sorrow,
regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.

the other is good.
it is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith."

the grandson thought about
it for a minute and then asked
his grandfather:

"which wolf wins?..."

the old cherokee simply replied,

"the one that you feed"

The path to the soul is through doors of fear but the greatest fear is that being myself is not enough ~ when in reality being myself is a spiritual being with a mission to accomplish within a slowly evolving loving plan. My deepest joy is knowing I'm in sync with my destiny as well as my part in a universal loving plan.

Allen L Roland at 81

Since I’m approaching 82 and partially disabled with a military service related condition, it’s time to update my Living Will along with a promise ~ inspired of course by the irrepressible Paul Rudnick of the New Yorker: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

"Me and Merle were talking, ain't many of us left ~ We were chuckling about that. Where'd everybody go? The fact he and I are still here is probably a miracle in itself"Willie Nelson (age 82) speaking of his friend Merle Haggard

Those of you who have not read the New Yorker’s Paul Rudnick’s My Living Will written on April 25th, 2005 should check it out for it’s the hilarious inspiration for My Living Will.

1. If I should remain in a persistent vegetative state for more than 30 days, I would like someone to pay my rent.

2. If I do not respond to pinches, pinpricks, rubber mallets, electric shock or other medical stimuli, please don’t take it personally.

3. If my death is particularly dramatic and worthy of a movie ~  I would like to be played by Harrison Ford.

4. If my doctor pronounces me brain-dead, I would like to see the latest Adam Sandler movie.

5. If there is a family dispute over my medical condition, it must be settled with a boxing match.

6. I do not wish to be kept alive by any machine that has a 5,10 or 20 dollar change setting.

7. In lieu of flowers or donations, I would prefer a fireworks show.

8. Assume that, even in a coma, I can still hear discussions about my life, my loves and my struggles.

9. If I remain motionless for an extended period and utter only guttural, meaningless sounds, I would like it set to music and submitted for an Emmy.

10. At my memorial service, I would like my clergyman to begin his eulogy with the words “I suppose, in a way, we all misunderstood Allen.”

It’s very healthy to laugh at death particularly because it’s inevitable and it’s really just another chapter here on earth which may or may not have a sequel ~ dependent on whether we denied or surrendered to love ~ which leads me to my final comment as well as sincere promise;

Dr. Eben Alexander, in his bestselling book Proof of Heaven writes about his near death experience and says the same thing about what lies beyond death ~ in essence, it’s all about love;

Proof of Heaven,  p. 71 ~ “If I had to boil this entire message down to one sentence, it would run this way: “You are loved.”  And if I had to boil it down further, to just one word, it would (of course) be simply: Love. Love is without doubt, the basis of everything.  Not some abstract, hard-to-fathom kind of love, but the day-to-day kind that everyone knows – the kind of love we feel when we look at our spouse and our children, or even our animals.  In its purest and most powerful form, this love is not jealous or selfish, but unconditional.  This is the reality of realities, the incomprehensibly glorious truth of truths that lives and breathes at the core of everything that exists or that ever will exist, and no remotely accurate understanding of who and what we are can be achieved by anyone who does not know it, and embody it in all of their actions.  Not much of a scientific insight?  Well, I beg to differI’m back from that place, and nothing could convince me that this is not only the single most important scientific truth as well.”  See 7 minute video ~

What Eben is suggesting is the very real possibility of consciousness existing beyond the physical realm and being able to influence the physical realm that does not necessarily contradict the known laws of physics ~ since quantum mechanics, if not proving this idea, at least makes it theoretically possible.

11. Since I am a firm believer and have demonstrated in my heart centered work and personal life that the Near and after Death experience is, in reality, a state of love and soul consciousness (the Unified Field)  that exists not only beyond time and space but also beneath our deepest fears and a state of ego consciousness ~ I promise that I will personally appear to and thank each person who has touched my heart during my brief time on Earth after I pass on ~ including brother and sisters as well as all former loves and close friends.

Both my mother ( see post ) who died and 1958 and my twin brother ( See post ) who died in 2014, have appeared to me in a joyful after death experience ~ so I look forward, with great delight, to reminding these people still alive of how close they were to my heart here on planet Earth. Most of them already know this but this will be a special reminder that my love is actually a state of love and soul consciousness that exists beyond time and space.

It will be also be my reminder to them that God is love and manifests itself not only as a loving plan in action but also as an evolutionary process with which we all participate as co-creators ~ if we have the courage to say YES to ourselves and our dreams and not be controlled by fear.

Life to me is and has always been a great adventure ~ the Poet and teacher Patrice Vecchione reflects on what it's like to be alive in this great adventure where chaos and seeming confusion often lead to clarity;

"To be alive is not primarily a linear experience. It's a mix of dreaming and running to the store for a quart of milk. Our lives have depth, in part, because we can't make sense of everything. Life doesn't make sense; it's more complicated than our linear way of knowing. Mystery and spirit run through our days like rivers and sustain us. Life is a blend of possibility and impossibility... From chaos comes clarity. It was there all along. You just couldn't see it. To come to clarity, you have to enter the chaos. Dive in or enter inch by inch. Confusion is not a bad thing."

“To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.”  ~ J.K. Rowling,

Admit it, most of us know the political system is rigged, that most Americans have been marginalized and silenced by a growing plutocracy and that corporations are now firmly in control, that a truly honest politician is an oxymoron, that is until now ~ Bernie Sanders is a lifeboat in a sea of political deception and lost hope. Bernie is an honest Independent politician who cares enough now in 2015 to become a Democrat, run against Hillary and the other political pretenders of both parties for the presidency and who knows ~ A Sanders/Warren ticket just may ride a building progressive wave of Hope from 2008 that is still waiting to crest: Allen L Roland, Ph.D

“...legitimacy is based on three things. First of all, the people who are asked to obey authority have to feel like they have a voice ~ that if they speak up, they will be heard. Second, the law has to be predictable. There has to be a reasonable expectation that the rules tomorrow are going to be roughly the same as the rules today. And third, the authority has to be fair. It can't treat one group differently from another.”  ~ Malcolm Gladwell, David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants

The Bureau of Economic Analysis has reported recently that 6 years of zero rates and Large-Scale Asset Purchases (LSAP) under the Obama administration ~ which have enriched stock speculators, inflated the largest asset-price bubble in history, and exacerbated inequality to levels not seen since the Gilded Age ~ have done nothing to improve the real economy, boost demand or reduce unemployment. As the BEA data illustrates, the US economy is basically DOA ~ a victim of criminal congressional negligence and Central Bank chicanery as reported by Mike Whitney on ICH.  See article ~

If you're not outraged by this, you're on life support so I wonder how many Americans now feel what I feel today ~ I'm ready for real change, I'm ready for the honesty of Bernie Sanders ~ I can't wait to see Bernie debate Hillary Clinton as to where Americans really are, are they really being treated fairly in our present system and are our voices being heard and represented  in our present plutocracy.

U.S Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont declared his candidacy yesterday for president of the United States. The senator sent an email to hundreds of thousands of supporters declaring his intention to run in the Democratic Party and laying out themes of his campaign:

Here are key excerpts:

“I am writing to inform you that I will be a candidate for President of the United States. I ask for your support.

“For many months I have been traveling from coast to coast across our country, and have had the opportunity to meet with thousands of good, hard-working, and remarkable people. Like you and me, they are deeply concerned about the future of our country.

“They wonder why they are working longer hours for lower wages. They worry about whether their kids will be able to afford college or get decent jobs. They fear that they may not have the savings to retire with dignity and security.

“The challenges facing our country are enormous.

“It's not just that, for forty years, the middle class has been disappearing. It's that 99% of all new income is going to the top 1%, and the grotesque level of wealth and income inequality today is worse than at any time since the late 1920s. The people at the top are grabbing all the new wealth and income for themselves, and the rest of America is being squeezed and left behind.

“The disastrous decisions of the Supreme Court in the Citizens United case and in other related cases are undermining the very foundations of American democracy, as billionaires rig the system by using their Super PACS to buy politicians and elections.

“And the peril of global climate change, with catastrophic consequences, is the central challenge of our time and our planet.

“The middle class in America is at a tipping point. It will not last another generation if we don’t boldly change course now.

“After a year of travel, discussion and dialogue, I have decided to be a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president. But let's be clear. This campaign is not about Bernie Sanders. It about a grassroots movement of Americans standing up and saying: ‘Enough is enough. This country and our government belong to all of us, not just a handful of billionaires.’” your social media marketing partner

USA Today writes: It also will be the first time that the fiercely independent politician has run as a Democrat. He has long criticized both parties for being too beholden to corporate interests. He does not accept campaign contributions from corporate political action committees.”

Matt Taibbi ,Rolling Stone, writes of Bernie Sanders ~  "He is the rarest of Washington animals, a completely honest person." See article ~

 And Mark Karlin, Buzz flash at Truth out, correctly writes;
"Sanders will run a social and economic justice candidacy at a timely moment. A growing movement has developed in the US that no longer believes in incremental change. The killings of black males by police - and the protests and uprisings that have risen up – has opened up the debate of the cancer of racism, criminal legal system injustices, economic inequality and political campaign funding.Sanders has long advanced these issues, particularly economic injustice. In 2010, he filibustered a budget agreement between congressional Republicans and President Obama. His indictment was so detailed and devastating that it was published as a book: The Speech: A Historic Filibuster on Corporate Greed and the Decline of Our Middle Class."  See article:

Here's a 25 minute YouTube video of the vintage Bernie speaking from the Senate floor ~ explaining why the American people are angry and saying Enough is Enough and why he is willing to speak for them ~ See video

As Mother Jones explains ~ This is not show business and unlike Hillary Clinton, his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination ~ Bernie Sanders didn't use a splashy, big-budget video to announce his campaign. Instead, the Vermont senator opted for a series of one-on-one television interviews Wednesday followed by a low-key launch event outside the US Capitol Thursday morning. "I believe that in a democracy, what elections are about are serious debates over serious issues," he said Thursday. "Not political gossip, not making campaigns into soap operas. This is not the Red Sox vs. the Yankees, this is the debate over major issues facing the American people."

Bernie has my support and you may call me a dreamer but as John Lennon once sang ~ I'm not the only one ~ and my dream team ticket is a Sanders/Warren ticket for President riding a populist wave to victory in 2016.

In some ways, it's David versus Goliath but never underestimate the power of honesty and the truth ~ it can change the world. Yesterday Bernie told a reporter “I think people should be a little bit careful underestimating me,” and, as a fellow truth teller ~ I most certainly am not making that mistake with Bernie Sanders.

Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world...would do this, it would change the earth.”  ~ William Faulkner
